Open Textbook Network (OTN) Workshop funding for fall – participating NTCC faculty must agree to attend an OER training workshop that Library Director, Margaret Keller, will provide. Faculty will choose an open textbook to review through the Open Textbook Network. Compensation is provided to the instructor once the review has been submitted and verified by LOUIS. If you are interested, please email your request to participate to email@example.com no later than Sunday, September 15, 2019. Seats are limited, and priority will be given to those who have not had a chance to participate in this program.
Full-time faculty within the Business and Communications departments are invited to participate in the LOUIS OER Commons Faculty Cohort Project. Funds are available to support select faculty as they design openly-licensed syllabi using that curated content through a supportive peer cohort model. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with peers in your field in creating and adopting quality course content. More information about this can be found at: https://louislibraries.org/c.php?g=963498. Here is a direct link to the proposal: https://louis.libsurveys.com/cohort. Submission deadline is November 1, 2019 at 11:59 pm.
